The Build: Lego Star Wars

So, if you recall from this earlier post... Joe worked super hard for 7 weeks to save his allowance until he reached $100. From there, we hit the Lego Store so he could spend his hard earned cash on something big and expensive.

Dan had basketball Sunday night, so Mom opted to help the boy build his new gargantuan ship! When Dan returned home, he jumped right in to build the Lego plane he purchased (the yellow plane the front) and help us finish off Joe's ship.

We did the build while watching a movie... GI Joe. Joe and Dan thoroughly enjoyed the effort. It took us about 4 hours to build this 6 hour project. I, on the other hand, can only enjoy building for about two hours before I hit "Lego Build Overload"... It was wonderful to spend time with the boys, though, and Joe was SUPER happy with his cool new ship.

The finished products... a team effort!
